Come to Newcombes Meadow, Crediton, on Sunday 5 June 2016 at 3pm and find out all about “the world’s greatest Englishman”, St Boniface!
To help celebrate our home-grown saint Oliver’s Bakery has designed some special Boniface Buns: vanilla cupcakes with a vanilla frosting and a sugar paste plaque depicting the Boniface logo of a sword through a bible (want to find out why that is the logo? See you on the 5th then).
Do you need personalised cakes with your business logo on, or to celebrate a special occasion? Then do call us on 01363 772843 or email email@example.com
Have you had a chance to taste the two new lines we introduced during the Crediton Food and Drink Festival?
Sandford cider and apple cake
Orange and cranberry cake
Having got together all the questions from the High Street Traders it was also David’s pleasure to give away the box of goodies to the winner of the High Street Treasure Trail, Caroline Stapleton (thanks to the Crediton Courier and Nora Parminter for the photo).
We enjoyed meeting you all at the seventh Crediton Food and Drink festival in the Town Square on Saturday 14 June 2015. Hope you had a good time.
We look forward to serving you during normal opening hours over the next few weeks (Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.00pm, Sat 8.00am-4.00pm); we are closed from Thursday 25 to Saturday 27 December 2014 and on Thursday 1 January 2015.
Thanks to all our customers for your patronage during 2014. We wish you all the best for a happy and restful festive season and look forward to serving you in 2015.
Diane and David and all at Oliver’s Bakery
In between chef demonstrations in the marquee at the 2014 Food Festival we let anybody and everybody have a go at some bread plaiting – and they did:
We’re looking forward to 14 and 15 June. It’s great to see the community getting together in the Town Square for, what will be the sixth, Food Festival.
On Saturday we hope to see you in the demonstration marquee. In between the demos come and try your hand at bread plaiting. The plaits will be brought back to our ovens for baking and you can then take them home.
On Sunday we are supplying Sandford Scouts with cakes for decorating. Come and support their fundraising efforts by decorating a cake (remember it is also Father’s Day, so that would make a nice treat).
